8 Items We’re Pink-ing for Spring

Now that it’s officially spring, we are so ready to bust out a bare leg and embrace the SUN. It’s about this time we start thinking pink — a color that’s never a wrong choice when things heat up. So we asked our contributors, beauty and fashion experts for a few blush-hued items they are coveting this spring.

1. Flower Transforming Touch Powder To Creme Blush in Tickled Pink

This Flower Beauty blush is the only blush I’ve used since testing it a year ago. It’s amazing, and all I want is for Drew Barrymore to make it in a smaller size so I don’t have to pack this gigunda blush when I travel (but I always do). I have at least three backups in case it gets discontinued.

2. Kate Spade Passport Holder

I haven’t traveled internationally in at least five years, but I’ve had to whip out my passport a lot in that time whenever I complete tax forms or an I-9 for a new assignment. Thanks to my pink case, it’s easy to spot my passport in files or a pile of other documents. For this reason, I’ve started keeping my other identification documents in it (birth certificate, voter registration card and social security card), too.

3. Diptyque ‘Rosaviola’ Scented Candle

I’m obsessed with this pretty pink candle from Diptyque, which was created as part of a collaboration with quirky French designer Olympia Le-Tan. The scent is rosy but not overly floral — perfect for spring — and the jar is beautifully decorated.

The old-school glamour of these sunnies is divine — and the ultra-pale pinkness adds just the right touch.

5. Aquazzura Wild Thing Suede Sandals

These are power heels for a generation of women who DGAF about the rules for office dressing. Maybe it takes a more seasoned chick to wear pink tasseled, lace-up stilettos with a pair of cropped wide-leg jeans to a meeting. But you can bet that if she’s wearing these pink pretties, she means serious business!

6. Derek Lam 10 Crosby Lace Pence Skirt

I am coveting this bold pink skirt, and I never — I mean never — wear pink. The floral print is just right.

7. Rose Gold Monogram Ring

I had a baby girl last September, so there has been a lot of pink in my life lately. One of my favorite things, though, is this rose gold signet ring my husband got me shortly after our little one was born. Like my daughter, it’s delicate, pink, and super pretty — and I’m borderline obsessed with it.

8. Adidas Superstar Mono Casual Shoes

I was in line at Dunkin Donuts when a woman walked in wearing these shoes. Three of us in line immediately yelled at her, “Oh my god, I love your shoes!” Which was a bit much, considering none of us had our first cup of coffee yet. I heart them.
