Mash-Up Americans is the place for all of us to explore the hybrid culture and hilarious stories from the frontlines of a mixed-up, vaguely ethnic, religiously varied, richly rooted, multidimensional America. Our mission is to help you — and us — navigate the complexities of a multi-identity life in modern America. We’ll share stories, address Big Issues like Family! Religion! Race! and help you figure out what to say when your in-laws bring prosciutto to Shabbat. Or keep asking you why you can’t speak Chinese (you’re Korean).
