One of the last dates I went on before I met my husband was a set-up with a banker facilitated by my mother. One drink into our date, he said to me, “You know, I’m a Dom.” And I said “Like Dom Deluise? I thought your name was Jeff?” He went on to tell me that he was a sexual dominant and that he liked to date “career women” because they needed the stress relief of being submissive after being dominant all day at work.
